Burton Snowboards Signs Mitch Allen
Sydney, (May 26, 2008) - Today Burton Australia announced Mitch Allen has signed to ride Burton Hardgoods. Burton Snowboards were one of the first companies to support Mitch’s snowboarding and, after a 5 year absence, are very happy to welcome Mitch back. Mitch had this to say about the deal “I’m stoked to be back on Burton. They sponsored me in the beginning and I’m pumped to be back on.”
With a career spanning more than 7 years, Mitch has a list of snowboard achievements longer than most, including competing at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. “Mitch Allen is one of Australia’s most respected and established snowboarders and one of the few Australian riders to kill it across pipe, park freestyle and the backcountry; we’re stoked to have Mitch back on Burton and look forward to working together in the future”, said Burton Team Manager Chris Boadle.
