Terje is still the MAN
Any comp where Terje Haakonson turns up, you know its going to be a good one.
A new year , a new look for the The Oneil Evolution , formly known as SB jam.
Davos, Switzerland was the town to set the scene, the scene one fuck off 9.5m perferct QP, another cancelled slopestlye competeion ( due to Europes king low tide ) , and a blue dyed U-ditch.
Being one of the 6star TTR events, all the big dogs had shown up ready to grab the cash and stack the world ranking points up for grabs.
The QP, shaped by the two Claus’s.( Arctic challenge shapers ) was looking perfect. The expectations of someone breaking the 9.5m world record Heiki Sorsa aibs air was looming amosgst both media and riders a like.
The pipe final went down on the Friday night, The pipe was farly beaten, so the riding wasnt anything new. But you still know shit went down. Highlights for me was every air that Terje pulled, that guy is still killing it. During the day he took the Swatch highest Air in the pipe, qualified for the finals but unfortunaley for the crowd he decided to skip the finals and keep his old legs fresh for the QP finals the next day

Antti Autti was spinning and styling as per usaul, Markus Keller frontside ally oops were wetting the pants of every woman in the crowd. Travis Rice was showing he can also ride pipe, Marku Koski was as solid as rock, I dont think I saw him fall or flail in the 5 days i was there. yourie p was having the time of his life, maybe he was getting extra points cause he was smiling the whole way through his run. His smile to his fs 1080 to bs 9 was good enough to get him 3rd, Koski in 2nd and Antti taking home the win, with run that confused me for sure. Spinning this way back to this way.. who knows what was going in the ditch.
Now this is the good bit The QP, Im not going to say to much .
Except TERJE IS A FUCKING SICK CUNT... The tender age of 32 flying 7.5 -8m picture perfect bs airs. I cant wait till im 32. Hopefully i can get some of those super powers
